For those of you who have experienced the above mentioned parties, you know how we get down…And we also do it for a good cause…That year YOU AND YOUR SCENE helped raise close to $3,000 for various charities…That’s some good shit!!!
Well, once again we are out to help the MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION!!! I was moved at the fact that MAW sent us a letter, addressed to KJ:215, thanking us and sharing how our donation made a difference in one woman’s life.. I will repost the letter for you all to read. Wish Upon A Star raised $500, I think we can def top that this time around!!!
Also, I would like to point out the the fact that this is the “1st Annual” event..that’s right folks, this is the start of something BIG. This is a testing ground to see your response to an activity that many of us “city kids” dont get to do that often.. I plan to raise the bar each year with bigger talent, a bigger venue, and more elaborate production.. For those of you who know me, know I’ve been in this scene for a looooooooooooooong time. I am at the point in my life where I just want to do one really well thought out and executed event a year to give to my fellow music lovers…
